About Us
Elstons Quality Butchers, which was established over one
hundred years ago, was formerly known as Claytons.
Whilst run by Mr and Mrs Clayton, the butchers built up
a strong reputation for supplying quality meat and offering
first class customer service. When the couple were looking
to retire, the perfect opportunity was presented for someone
to take over the business and develop it further.
Tony Elston took over the family-run business in 2005 with
a view to building on its success. A background working for
some of the biggest supermarket chains for over 20 years
provided Tony with the experience and expertise to expand
the business with the introduction of new products, a home
delivery service and a level of personal service so often
lacking in larger chain stores.
Tony and his experienced team look forward to a bright future
delivering the high standard of service that Elstons customers
